My girlfriend had said David Gray<br> was going to be on, so I decided to tape it for her because she wasn&#8217;t going to be back<br> in time to listen. Jo started to interview someone of whom I&#8217;d never heard, who turned out<br> to be called Dido, so I decided to record her songs so I could set the volume levels<br> properly, etc.<br> </p> <p> Anyway, Dido performed a two-song acoustic set and I thought it was absolutely<br> fantastic, so I cleaned it up and kept it.<br> </p> <p> Pretty soon I bought the album, and as I say&#8230; I hate it. It&#8217;s very overproduced with<br> lots of dance beats and stuff. I don&#8217;t like that. I preferred the acoustic versions.<br> I&#8217;ll concede that there are a few decent tunes on it, but I&#8217;ll always prefer the<br> live, acoustic stuff.<br> </p> <p> &#8230;
