&lt;h2&gt;Internet Explorer&lt;/h2&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Should accept the &lt;code&gt;application/xhtml+xml&lt;/code&gt; MIME type.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Should support the &lt;code class=&quot;html&quot;&gt;&amp;amp;lt;object&amp;amp;gt;&lt;/code&gt; tag without requiring any proprietry extensions or adding scrollbars to images.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&amp;#8220;Quirks Mode&amp;#8221; ought to die a slow and painful death.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Fix &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.webstandards.org/learn/reference/prolog_problems.html&quot;&gt;problems&lt;/a&gt; with the &lt;span class=&quot;caps&quot;&gt;XML &lt;/span&gt;prolog and standards mode.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Alpha blending for &lt;span class=&quot;caps&quot;&gt;PNG &lt;/span&gt;images (without weird hacks).&lt;/li&gt;
